LIBBA Member Contest Target Species is: BLUEFISH ONLY

Contest Dates are the same as FGMSSFC
Noon Friday, October 25 through Noon Sunday, October 27

LOCATIONS: Waters between the West End of Jones Beach & East Jetty of Moriches Inlet

CONTEST PARTICIPANT CATEGORIES:
LIBBA Member Adult (18 Years & Older)
LIBBA Family Member Youth (17 Years & Younger)

TOURNAMENT PRIZES:
Awards for Bluefish in Adult & Youth Categories wil be presented for the 3 largest fish. (In case of ties, the earliest recorded fish takes precedence)
One prize per person,
Adult 1st place- $100, 2nd Place $75, 3rd place $50.
Youth 1st place- $100, 2nd Place $75, 3rd place $50.

CONTEST RULES AND CONDITIONS MIMMIC the FGMSSFC GUIDELINES:
1) All fish must be hooked and landed from the waters between the West End of Jones Beach to the East Jetty of Moriches Inlet. All areas must be accessible by foot or wading. Swimming & boating are prohibited.
2) Each participant must have an OFFICIAL FGMSSFC ENTRY FORM/PARKING PERMIT. Those with beach vehicles must obey 4-wheel drive regulations.
3) All Bluefish must be weighed in and recorded on or before noon on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
4) All Blue Fish must be recorded in person on or before noon on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Captree Fuel Bait & Tackle within two (2) hours of catch. If weigh station is closed, Catch Must Be Weighed In within 2 hours of reopening. Email, text, or other submissions will not be accepted.
The minimum qualifying weight/size limit is: Bluefish is 5lbs.,
5) LIBBA Member Must Include LIBBA Member Number on official Weigh In Sheet During Weigh In.
6) Awards will be presented for the 3 largest Bluefish. In case of a tie, the earliest recorded fish takes precedence. One prize per person.
7) Fish will be gutted at the discretion of the official weigh in station.
LIBBA Fishing Contest Directors reserves the right to be solely responsible for judging. In case of disputed entries, the contest co-sponsors reserve the right to disqualify entries.
