2022 LIBBA Member Jamboree

LIBBA JAMBOREE  2022

This years jamboree has been set for Saturday August 6th at Heckscher state park Field 8 in East Islip. Please come and support LIBBA’s commitment to our beaches and communities. 

You will need your NY State Empire Pass or $10 to get into Hechscher.

Members and immediate family (children and parents) are free, guests over 18 will be charged $5.00. If said guests join LIBBA at the jamboree all entrance fees will be waived and their membership will be good for the rest of the 2022 season and all of 2023. This offer is for new membership.

LIBBA asks all members and guests to bring one can or box of food. These items will be used as donations to local food banks. Boxes will be setup near the sign in tables. Please remember charity begins at home and LIBBA keeps it here on Long Island.


JAMBOREE SCHEDULE

9:30 start our gathering with our official USA Pledge of Allegiance

9:45-10:00 Opening remarks and presentations

10:00-10:45 corn husking functional game with prizes

10:45-12:30 kid’s and adult games

10:45-till event close, adult horseshoe and/or corn hole contests with LIBBA Merchandise prizes

12:30-2:00 lunch is served

2:30-5.00 raffles and more kid’s games


If you do not receive Raffles in advance, you can purchase at Jamboree. This raffle is our only fundraiser and helps with all our projects throughout the year. LIBBA Scholarship Application are accepted within the Current Calendar Year and are Awarded at the Subsequent year Annual Meeting.
